To provide a home for Mind Sports in Whitley Bay

• promote games with intellectual challenge
• organise major national and international events, attracting top flight players to compete in our spaces;
• enable all those interested in the discipline to experience the highest level of competition;
• provide facilities for local players to attain the highest standard through support and coaching;
• facilitate the enjoyment, on a purely social level, of mind sports;
• capture and disseminate the health and other benefits of mind sports participation;
• attract more visitors to Whitley Bay.

There are a great many varieties of Mind Sport, many of which have National and International governing bodies which oversee competitions.
